outgrew our name! |
Great Gifts for Grads
began with one item, a book written by Don with short simple career
advancement tips. In response to inquiries from customers, new
products were offered. In early 2000, once selection had grown
to several
hundred items, they were incorporated into an on-line
superstore focused on being the most comprehensive and easiest to
use for just one group of
customers - educational professionals. |
Over the past six years, the company and site have grown from just
selling those initial items for graduates to alumni and development offices to
one selling relationship-building imprinted gifts to every office on campus - from
Admissions to the President's. During that time, however, the word
"Grads" in our name has been confusing and a sales
obstacle to many in those
other offices. Until having it explained, they often wouldn't
even browse the site because they were not responsible for grad gifts
and believed that was all we sold. |
So in response to our growth serving 600 schools - from small day institutions to major state universities
and an ever-widening number of offices on campus - we have now changed our web address.
